Math Tools:

Here is my iink. It has great resources for all subjects. (Anne Michelle Frey)
http://www.bigbrainz.com/ This is an awesome interactive game to help students learn their multiplication tables through 12. It feels like you are playing a game, but you have to solve multiplication problems to beat the game. The other great feature is that it keeps track of which problems students knew and which they didn’t. Subsequent levels focus more on the ones students missed the first time. I highly recommend this for any student trying to master multiplication! (Sarah Moebius)
www.classzone.com This is an excellent math resource for middle and high school levels. There are many textbooks to choose from, most of which overlap with our curriculum. It provides practice quizzes and games for many math topics.
Move the Turtle - basic programming app for kids 5+ build; great way to foster collaborative problem solving - $2.99 (Anna Baralt)
Fraction Basics - a good app for the ipad that has video demonstrations of equivalent fractions and why it works for multiplication and division, but not for addition and subtraction. Found for free in the ipa app store. (Steve Brelsford)
Chicken Coop Estimation Game: Fractions - a slightly silly, but productive, ipad game in which students must estimate the conversion of various fractions (proper and improper) into decimals and find fraction amounts of whole numbers, in order to safely catch eggs from a chicken. Good for grades 5+ (Steve Brelsford)
